Louise joined Scholar Base when she was 6 years old. She studied at SJKCC Kepong and we speak mandarin at home. It was important to get a good place for her to learn English. I enrolled my son, Jensen to Scholar Base when I decided to accept my company offer for 3 months oversea assignment in Paris. The first intention is to ease my mother’s burden when I was away, and at the same time let my son to have more exposure to the English speaking environment.

When I was back to Malaysia after three months, I was not aware of his improvement, until when I brought him to Japan for holiday with my friend’s family. To my surprise, he spoke to my friend’s child in very fluent English. My friend was amazed too, and asked “How come Jensen’s English improve a lot?” I was really proud when I told them that he just attended the class at Scholar Base 3 months ago, and I never expected he could progress so well.
