Tan Poh Lee, founder of Scholar Base, is an educator passionate about creating fun and engaging learning experiences for children. As a mother of four, she saw the need for a holistic English programme that focuses on reading, writing, and public speaking that actively draw interest in storybooks.

In 2005, she opened Scholar Base with a mission to make learning fun through storytelling, drama, and games. Her approach has helped thousands of students become confident learners and excel in English.

As Scholar Base approaches its 20th anniversary, Tan Poh Lee continues to inspire young scholars to continuously yearn and learn in achieving success on their educational journey.
