Have you heard? Scholar Base will be featured on BFM radio on 23rd April 2015.
Tune in at 10 am and listen to the BFM doing a live interview with Ms Tan Poh Lee, our dear Principal.
BFM radio, Malaysia’s business radio station will be featuring Ms Tan on the program “Open For Business”, discussing her success in developing children’s literary interests using English as a second language.
Ms Poh Lee will be sharing her reasons for founding Scholar Base 10 years ago with Mr William Chin. There will be friendly “debate” on the emphasis on reading, writing and speaking instead of the traditional science and math.
Ms Tan will also be speaking on the importance of teaching young children, ages 4 and above, to read, write and recite or speak in public.
Young scholars at Scholar Base are comfortable reciting in public and on stage.
They sing, dance and act on stage, enjoying every moment of the event with costume and all.
Tune in and listen to the amazing work that Scholar Base is doing. You can find BFM live show on FM 89.9.
We’ll be posting the audio podcast here after the interview for those who cannot make it for the live show.
But if you join us on the live interview, you may even get a chance to tweet a question for Ms Poh Lee.
Come back and check out write up following the interview as we prepare to celebrate 10 years in helping to develop young children.
